Итак, спустя некоторое время, Chiikaboom решила вернуться к теме «Soul Eater»-а. Думаю, многие из вас помнят темный и психоделический Resonant Discord. На этот раз, автор взял «светлую сторону» исходника, приготовив микс жанров Comedy Action и Fun. Сложно дать клипу точное определение. В любом случае фан присутствует, и в немалой степени. =) Зритель, который рискнет посмотреть клип на (без сомнения) заезженной исходник, будет вознагражден: Этюдом Смерти Младшего и сестер Томпсон, отличной внутрикадровой синхрой, юмором, фирменной ноткой безумия, липсинком превращающимся в акын, и акыном превращающимся в липсинк. Не думаю что этот клип понравится всем, но тем не менее... Лирика приведена ниже. А сейчас — приятного просмотра!

Being A Superstar

Довольно жесткий хоррор-триллер, повествующий о «нелегких трудовых буднях» звезд популярной эстрады. =) Что-ж, у всех вещей есть темная сторона медали... Слава — далеко не исключение. Как всегда, подобные клипы не рекомендуется смотреть беременным и детям. Кроме того, не рекомендую знакомиться с видео — во время приема пищи. =)
Комментарий автора: I had the first plans about this anime song combination years agon with the working title «Stalker». It was planned with quite a lot of self made live action scenes to make a deeper stalker-victim relationship. Like some heavly obsessed Otaku in the real world watching Perfect Blue on his monitor in a dark room or walls with posters of the anime etc. Sadly I don't have a camera to work on this original idea. So... I picked this idea up again for the AniNite amv contest in Vienna. This time I wanted to portrait a more easier stalker theme in this video. It didn't worked out because of the heavy limitation of scenes, because I only used this movie. The solution was to twist the story into a different one in the middle of the editing working progress. Now it was about to portrait what it means to be Superstar full of private downsides. I'm really pleased with the final outcome. It has this wicked bauzi-style that I like on some of my videos.

Kotobukiya has started taking preorder for this figure of sexy figure of Mari Illustrious who was introduced in Evangelion 2.0 movie.
She is scheduled for release in May 2010 and will be retailing for around 8,190 yen. Interested folks can place your preorders with Hobby Search, Hobby Link Japan or Otacute.
While this release by Kotobukiya looks much better than Wave’s release, I still don’t think the quality of the figure matches my ideal image of Mari Illustrious that is in my mind. Hopefully we can get to see even more version of her from other manufacturers.

The title of world’s most obsessive Pokémon collector ever has been seized by an English lady.
Guiness have officially acknowledged Lisa Courtney as the world record holder for Pokémon amassment, with 12,113 articles amassed over 13 years.
She speaks of the trials of obsession:
“My family have been incredibly supportive considering the collection takes up the whole house, including my mother’s room!
I’ve even named the room where my main collection resides ‘Pokémon Centre Europe!’
To be in the new Gamer’s Edition and to hold a world record for something you feel so passionate about is just an indescribable feeling.”
The previous contender, an American lady with 8,000 Pikachu collectibles, seems to have her work cut out if she wishes to regain her dubious yellow crown, though she does still have a Pikachu car:
