Yesterday, we talked about the enormous Windows 7 Whopper in Japan. But seriously how big is it, and is it even possible to for you to bite into the burger without dislocating your jaw?

Saimoe Finalist: Yui VS Taiga

The two finalist of this year’s Saimoe tournament has finally been decided! It will be a face-off between Yui Hirasawa [平沢 唯]from K-On! and Taiga Aisaka [逢坂 大河]from Toradora!
Voting will commence today, so remember to cast your vote for your favorite character. Since Louise is already out of the competition, my vote now goes to Taiga!!

Taiga Aisaka Garage Kit

Here’s a couple of preview photos of this lovely garage kit of Taiga Aisaka from the anime series Toradora!
The kit is scheduled to be released at Treasure Festa 2009 on October 12th, 2009, and will be retailing for 8,000 yen.

She looks really sweet and I’m dissapointed that she will be released as a garage kit instead of a pre-painted figure.

Kobe Tetsujin 28-go Statue Launch Ceremony

Here’s a clip of the opening ceremony of the full-scale Tetsujin 28-go Statue which is located in Kobe’s Nagata Ward, Wakamatsu Park.
Even though the opening ceremony wasn’t as grand as that of the Gundam statue, from the video we can still see quite a number of people coming to see this awesome structure.

Here’s an interesting photo which was taken at the press check-in area at a Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker event in Tokyo.

Somehow I believe that when the press folks turn around and see Snake, a huge exclaimantion mark will appear above their heads just like the game.

NYAF 2009 – Day 1 – the VIP Powers do Nothing!

So there would have been some live twittering today if it wasn’t for the fact apparently T-mobile sucks around the Javits Center! Reception has been fine everywhere else as far as I can tell, but it was pretty touch and go while at Javits; if I didn’t happen to run into Omo as soon as I got there, it would have been a pain trying to find him and others otherwise!
